Presenting the complete development cycle of a Honey Bee worker! Starting from an egg on day one, watch as our worker bee grows and changes into a larva, pupa, and eventually an adult worker bee! Note the exponential growth from egg to larva, the significant change from larva to cocoon and again to pupa. Observe the subtle changes in pupal development and the dramatic difference from the last pupal stage to an adult bee ready to emerge! Days 1-8 are affixed into the cells due to their small size, but days 9-20 are removable and can be held in the palm of your hand. The set also includes an adult worker bee to show the final stage of a honey bee. Days 9-20 also feature magnetic caps to show the capped stages and keep the models in place.
